Guided Day Hikes and Tours
Snowshoe in the Sugarbush
Ever wonder what is happening in the Sugarbush in the winter? With the leaves gone, the maple bush is a magical place to visit. We will take a guided hike through the Hogan's Homestead sugarbush in Goulais River, with an interpretive talk about Maple sugarbushes and maple syrup. This two hour tour will highlight the views over Goulais Bay and through the snowy maple forest. Includes a warm beverage. The tour will end at the maple syrup production facility and if the gift shop is open, you will have the opportunity to purchase some maple products at its best. Price includes $25 which goes back to the sugar bush sustainability and improvement fund. A family friendly option includes some activities with the kids.

Carole led a hike to the Robertson Cliffs for myself, family and friends and we had a wonderful time! She is the consummate tour guide and offered us interesting insights into the making of the Voyageur Trail and the great work of the Algoma Land Conservancy. I look forward to hiking with her again next year, perhaps in Lake Superior Provincial Park. Thanks Carole! Five star. I recommend her tours highly. Outstanding guide!
